Do you prefer to watch movies at home or movie theatre?

Do you prefer to watch movies at home or in the movie theater? Why? Do you do a little of both?

Mostly at home, but for movies that have amazing audio and visual effects, I will try to make it to a theater. Theaters near me and assuming others have changed a lot. Nice and comfy reclining chairs and they also sell alcohol. Those are some of the reasons I occasionally go to the theater again.

When I was still working in my previous job, I would always make it a point to see a movie at the cinemas during my day off. Now, I only watch movies at home. I still prefer watching films at a movie theater. I love it when only a few of us are watching. I just feel that I have the cinema all to my self. Don't like it when it's packed.

I enjoy going to the theatre buying a big popcorn and soda but I really prefer to watch a movie at home. One of the important reason that I prefer to watch it at home is that I can pause the movie whenever I want. I can also pee in my own bathroom

Theaters are great for movies. The sound and visual effects are just out of this world, plus you are in good company with fellow movie enthusiasts around you. However, there are many times when I watch movies at home though it is not as good as watching movies on the big screen.

It depends. If we're talking about a movie that has insane visuals, great sound effects, etc. I go to the theater. If we're talking about musicals, romantic comedies, etc. Watching it at homes is just fine.

I like both of them but I prefer to watch a movie in my home because I am more relaxed staying on my couch with my family, we usually eat popcorn or potato chips drink soda and enjoy a good movie together.

I love movie theaters, But I prefer home and the only reason for that is that I pee alot, and I can't pause in Movie theater, So normally I stay in the comfort of my own home, I usually watch movies alone, but still when I have friends over or when I visit them we still watch movies at home, it more free, we get to laugh as loud as we want and most importantly get as much "pee pauses as we want".

Both of them are good to me. Since I can afford both, I make out time to visit the cinema on weekends to enjoy HD movies in the cinema house.

Take for instance, The Black Panther was so hyped that I had to go to the cinema and watch it.

When the tv came our in the early 50's many were saying it'll be the end of the cinemas. But the movie theatres haven't closed yet and I myself still go to see a movie or two with my family during the holiday seasons. It's a different thing watching movies: the sounds, the smell of popcorn, the cold, the laughter and sighs coming from the audience, and a lot of other things.

Seriously, the movie was worth it 10 times over watching it at the theater. I'm looking forward to the Avengers End Game. It's definitely going to be a blockbuster movie.

I prefer watching movies at home than in theaters because it's more practical. It's also more convenient to watch movies at home. You can pause if you are going to restroom or doing something important. However, watching movies in theaters will give you experience that home viewing doesn't give.

Took my wife and kids to the cinema yesterday being valentine. It's a way of showing them how much love I have for them because they are my world.

I prefer cinema. That big screen and sitting in the audience with other people is unique feeling. Not to mention watching 3D movies on that big screen, which is more than amazing, watching hd movies on big cinema screen is still better than watching them on a home TV. I love the audience interaction with the movie, for example, if there is some funny scene on the screen, everyone starts laughing, which makes the movie more joyful for me. So, if you ask me, cinema is the best!

Seriously, high definition movies are far more entertaining to watch than any other movies viewing format. This is why most people fancy going to the cinema always.
