Question Are Blasphemous and Hollow Knight soulslike?

This is a point the reviews are strangely unclear and reticent about. I am interested in acquiring these games, but too flimsy for soulslike games. The gameplay mechanics of soulslike games such as extreme difficulty, stamina management and losing everything upon dying are simply not appealing to me.
