That sounds fascinating! I'm currently reading "Educated" by Tara Westover. It's an inspiring memoir about overcoming adversity through the pursuit of education. It's quite a compelling read.

The book I am currently reading is bound to be a fan amongst gamers as the story and writing are very engaging. Dead Man in a Ditch by Luke Arnold is a gritty detective noir based in a world where the magic system is broken. It deals heavily in the themes of guilt, survival after a disaster and just general messed up business. The main character is a man for hire called Fetch Phillips who is a genuine screw up, and he really leans into unreliable narrator. Definetly a book to read if you are bored of typical high fantasy or wanting to get into fantasy but have never clicked with the typical setting/tropes.

Currently working on the following:
  • Legends & Lattes
  • The Illustrated A Brief History of Time
  • Beastars, Vol. 1

IDK lots to read. I forget this book promoted on NPR about the Irish Stock market seems like a good read.

Small Fry: A Memoir: Brennan-Jobs, Lisa

The daughter of Apple Founder/CEO that passed.....tells all book.

"I am not your father" or "I am not the father" - Steve Jobs

This guy got jacked for paying child support before he hit it big with Apple. She got nothing from the settlement. Even afterwards the mother was unable to barely get anything as the judgement was given. They struggled ( the mother and daughter ). Steve Jobbs is like "your mother is a random slut giving it away" basically put her mother as a random party-girl he met.

She is "Okay" with her boyfriend and her apartment she owns in Manhattan. But honestly she is correct.

....

"We are a cold family" says the wife ( some model he married )
..........................

The guy had his ideal wife, ideal success but his one daughter he made with a woman he went out with a couple of times does not matter.
