In a surprise to no one, Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu absolutely towers over real people, as demonstrated at a recent PlayStation show in Japan. The next installment in Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise is only a couple of months away, and a lot of the hype surrounding the game so far has been focused on the tall and bewitching Lady Dimitrescu.

Lady Dimitrescu first came to everyone’s attention after a Resident Evil Village showcase at the start of the year. From the moment she graced the screen, the internet went into overdrive. Just who or what she is, nobody can say for sure. Rumors have swirled that she is everything from a vampire to a witch to a tyrant. Capcom’s official Resident Evil Village website doesn’t shed any more light on the true nature of Lady Dimitrescu, simply stating that she is the mistress of the castle that overlooks the village within the game. One thing that is undeniable, though, is her incredible stature. Since Capcom revealed her true height to be 2.9m tall, Lady Dimitrescu has been compared to everything, including fridges and Pokémon.
