Game of Thrones has established itself with a lot of international fans and made a continuos run since 2011. Although criticized for some nudity in many of its scenes, the film which is basically of a fantasy genre has become a controversial one but successful nevertheless. The screen stars have been entangled in and outside the story plots as quite a number of them tied the knots in real life. They will be running their last series , season 8 which many are intensely anticipating.

Just saw the trailer and I can't wait for the next season. Can't believe we're so close to the release now as well!

Can't wait! Although being in the UK, I'm not staying up to watch the first episode when it is broadcast in the US.. I think it'd be like 2am here?

Umm.. Did you copy and paste that from Wikipedia or something? ?

I still haven't watched this yet. Friends of mine have been laughing at me because of it. Hehe :sneaky:

I really need to give it a chance and watch it sometime. Does anyone know if it comes on Netflix? Would be worth a watch if it does. I have netflix but haven't checked. Not necessarily the recent season but the olds ones too would be nice to watch one day

It's not on Netflix unfortunately. I am surprised you haven't watched it, everyone I know and I have spoke to have seen this show. It's absolutely brilliant, worth watching for sure.

It won't ever come to Netflix because they have their own streaming service (HBO) and I believe Now TV does it in the UK so chances are, it will never be available on Netflix.

I loved the first episode of the latest season and can't wait to see what happens next

I also enjoyed the first episode, but all these reunions are going to lead into heartache because I do believe death comes next episode.

I would get into it quick zoldos because if you're on social media, it's definitely going to be spoiled for you before you get started.

I'm going to be avoiding Twitter all day long today because I'm scared of something being spoiled. Can't risk what happened to me with the last episode lol

people are saying next episode spoilers are being posted as well. Best keep off of it for three weeks.

Not sure I can survive three weeks without Twitter. I've made sure to mute words related to the Avengers to avoid that getting spoiled but not sure I can do it for GOT. Way too many words to mute lol

That's quite brave of you. I wouldn't risk that personally. I can't even go an extra day after an episode is released without potential spoilers being posted on social media.

Tonight's episode was a rather rushed one, with lots of great moments. I fear this series won't wrap up well with so much and only 2 episodes left.

Who decided that this was going to be the last season? It really needed to be atleast 2 more seasons. This season could have dealt with the WW and the next season Cersei

yeah, they could have padded this out a lot better and made it so much better. I'm guessing HBO wanted to go out while the series was still riding high.

Oh lord. Watched the episode last night and it felt so rushed. Can't believe our favourite TV show is going to end up like this. Hopefully the ending is somewhat decent even if they do rush it

I fear its going to be rushed. Though what can be done with just 3 hours left in the show?

This is what happens when there was so much left to explore and they decided it was all going to be done in 6 episodes. Cersei as the last villain should not have been how it ended.

nope, someone had a theory that the night king would park the bulk of his forces at the north, go around, conquer the south and then come back up for a pincer attack. Really wish that would have happened.

That's one of the theories I read on Reddit as well. Would have made it so much more interesting and it would have be nice to see Cersei sacrificing all the people and only caring about herself when trying to deal with the issue

I know, she is too smug and needs that grin of hers wiped off her face.

Wouldn't it be a twist to have her actually win in the end? Now that would be a surprise ending. Unfortunately, at this point, I feel like the ending is going to be extremely predictable after tomorrow's episode.

The ending is clear and this series is going to end as a hot mess :p

Seriously though, not even 2 hours left and a lot to cover. What a shame.

Saw some spoilers for the latest episode and I'm not sure what to think really. If what I saw was true, I don't think I'm ready to watch it yet :(

Lets just say there is a lot of your username in this recent episode.

Hmm. Not sure about that episode. I understand why they did certain things but it needed to be longer. You're telling me she just changes her mind in a few seconds and wants to destroy the whole city? Not happy with the way Jaime's storyline ended either.

They've been hinting that Dany would do this since season 1. She has repeatedly stated she will take her birthright through fire and blood. Let's not forget that when she tried to govern in Meereen they began to revolt because love for Dany doesn't last long, it slowly fades into fear because she lights everyone on fire, and throughout the seasons she slowly goes from wincing at death, to embracing the look of it as she burns her victims. She had an advantage in Meereen, the citizens initially adored her because she liberated them, but she refused to allow their customs like pit fighting to continue unless she was talked into it. She doesn't have anyone to check her, Tyrion is already done in her eyes, he's "proven" to her that he takes the word of his family over his loyalty to her. Jon doesn't love her, and the person who could keep her in check, who did actually love her, died defending her in a battle she barely had much play in. Then as the bells ring, Cersei cedes defeat, but that Targaryen madness and rage builds inside her, Cersei just beheaded one of her closest advisors and friend. It makes absolute perfect sense that she acted that way.

And for me, Jaime died exactly how he wanted too, in the arms of his one true love.

The only thing, and I mean only thing is Jaime's storyline that they messed up on, Dany's was seasons in the making and her madness was cemented last episode when she lost both a dragon and her closest friend. Then having Jon no longer as a lover was the last straw plus having them give up after a easy assault was a mockery.

Guys, this is GOT, not real life. It's completely different in this scenario especially when you consider the family he is from.
