I agree that fans of Resident Evil can be a horrible bunch. That's saying something considering that I am one of them.
I believe it's because so many people adore the Resident Evil franchise. Everyone is pretty adamant about their opinions and has a different favorite game in the series.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I kind of hate it when people say RE4 is the best game in the series. It's entertaining, but if you play RE for the atmosphere, RE4 barely has any of that.

RE5 and 6 are more action heavy too. They are good co-op games, but they felt even less like a horror game. A soft reboot was required.

7 helped to make RE into horror again. Then RE8 flopped harder than a fish.

Well, I know it sold well. I just meant that the story sucked, and it was embarrassing.

Gamers just suck up to their favourite companies too much. Even when they're proven liars, wrong doers, or whatever, they still decide it's more worth their effort to keep on defending them.

Well, I reckon I'll be quitting forums after the new Resident Evil animated movie comes out. I'd love to give my thoughts on it. So that's the only reason I'm still posting for the time being.

As for RE in general, I have been finding it hard to really maintain much interest in discussing it, when I feel like I've just been repeating the same stuff on numerous forums for a very long time.

I do generally enjoy each game that Capcom releases, but the heyday of survival horror is long over, and that's the truth. It is still a popular enough genre, but provided we are talking about non RE games. For what is so scary about RE today? Nothing, really. I've had to turn to other games to fill a void left by RE becoming a pile of rubbish.

Seriously, though. Who thought that Lady Dimitrescu crap in RE8 was so crazy?

In my opinion, fall guys is a very toxic game. The worst part is that some players prevent other people from playing by pushing and delaying them. For no reason, and sometimes to their own detriment.
