Should I purchase Yooka-Laylee?

Is it worth the purchase? It's on sale on the Switch eShop. But I've heard some bad things about the game.

eeeeeehhhh, sadly I backed the game and I found a lot of it kind of boring to play. If you really love platforming you may enjoy it, but only get it cheaply if you can.

Not a fan of those type of games unless there is a kid in the house.
