PS5 custom faceplates are now available to pre-order

PlateStation is now offering up a number of PS5 custom faceplates to pre-order for launch.

The website is offering a series of different colours, each priced at £32.00 GBP, with free worldwide shipping.

Colours available:

• Cherry Red
• Chromatic
• Indigo Blue
• Jungle Camo
• v1 Matte Black (Limited Edition)

As part of a recent PS5 teardown video, we learned that the console’s white faceplates could easily be removed. It was only a matter of time before we started seeing custom faceplates being offered.

The service is relatively new and doesn’t have a lot of reviews or feedback, so if you’re interested, you might be better off holding off for a little while to see how it all goes.

PS5 heads to retail stores from 12 November.

Not only do I have to pay extra for a decent looking black, but limited edition? Rip off.

I'll wait a bit before making a decision. I'm slightly worried about how much of a perfect fit it will be? Is there a way for them to find out what the size of the faceplate is etc.?
