PS5 system software beta program now available

PS5 system software beta program is now available for an opportunity to join the first PS5 beta test.

Those who are 18-years-old or older and are in the US, Canada, Japan, UK, Germany and France can sign-up to the program, allowing them to test out new PS5 features earlier than most.

Sony said:

We’re calling on all eligible players to help our teams continue to enhance the PlayStation 5 console experience. By signing up to take part in upcoming system software beta programs, you could be among the first to put new features to the test and provide essential feedback that will help guide their development.

Sony added:

We’re testing features for a PS5 system software update that will roll out globally later this year, but starting with a smaller group of countries to gather key insights and feedback. This is our first system software beta program for PS5 and we’re excited to share more details soon.

Any eligible PS5 users can sign-up to the scheme here, though not everyone is guaranteed to be selected.
