Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered teased by EA

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered was teased by EA ahead of an official announcement.

A listing for the Nintendo Switch version of Hot Pursuit Remastered was first spotted on Amazon back in August. Recently, a post on Need for Speed official Twitter account, shows off a race car, a police car, Big Joe’s Pizzeria and police call code 510 (which is the designation for street racing).



Furthermore, a new landing page on the Need for Speed website is counting down to 16:00 pm BST on 5 October. It also sports a 510 in its URL.

A message on the site reads:

5:10. How did he go so fast? Five ten. Call Big Joe’s Pizzeria on 0800-510-510-510. […] There’s got to be a way to fix this.

The landing page now officially points to NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered Need for Speed™ Hot Pursuit Remastered – Official EA Site.

Kind of happy about that, Hot Pursuit was a decent game the first time around, NFS has been trying to make a comeback, and it can be fun racing the police in games that aren't GTA at times, so...good choice! Hopefully one day they'll remaster the original NFS Underground, that was also a really fun game, same w/ Most Wanted.
