Do you think this will be a big improvement over the lackluster second movie?

This time, they're basing the plot on the events of Silent Hill 2. So this means, the films are kind of occurring out of order in terms of when the storylines play out.

James Sunderland ended up in Silent Hill before the adult Heather Mason returned there.

Anyway, I hope there's news at the next PlayStation showcase.

Apparently, that's set for as soon as the next upcoming week. Although Konami hasn't been anywhere as frequent as Capcom with the updates for their top horror franchise, so the time between news is rather lengthy.

I may not always like what Capcom does, but they certainly keep you in the loop.
