Guardians of the Galaxy game, from Eidos Montreal, will head to PC and consoles in October 2021, Square Enix has confirmed.
The single-player title will offer up 30 frames-per-second (FPS) on PS4 and Xbox One, and will run in either 4K and 30FPS or 1080p and 60FPS on PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Eidos Montreal’s Olivier Proulx has confirmed.
Proulx also confirmed that the studio is working on the inclusion of ray-tracing, though the feature might not be ready for the game’s 26 October 2021 launch.
Players will be able to play as Star-Lord who uses his jet-boots and blaster to take out threats as well as able to call upon the abilities of fellow Guardians when in battle.
