Why do you buy games that you will never play?

Just curious to know why people buy games that they know they will never play?

Because I have spare money lying around.

most of the time it's because of buying bundles, like Humble Bundle, also those game sale bundles on itch too for example.

sometimes, you just want 30% of the games on sale, but you buy them anyway. 😅
also that epic games that I collect per week, but don't play...

Steam deals are awesome and I am actually genuinely interested in playing the game. There are also some free games so it just makes a big stack of games I haven't played. Maybe I'll eventually get to them!
