It's widely regarded as a flop, so much so they never even bothered to release the planned DLC for it. It's not even that it was a terrible game, per se, it just wasn't a Mass Effect game...it felt so disjointed from the initial trilogy that it it would have been better not having the Mass Effect name attached to it.
