WWE 2K21 has been cancelled, WWE has confirmed.
Frank Riddick, WWE interim Chief Financial Officer, stated that “there’s not going to be a launch of a game this year,” when asked about the status of WWE 2K21.
The rumours continue to suggest that a “palette cleanser” WWE game will debut in 2020, though Riddick didn’t comment on it. The rumours come after developer Yuke’s departure from the title in WWE 2K20, resulting in a bugged title managed by Visual Concepts.
It was only last week rumours surfaced that the title would be dropped due to quality control issues.
2K has yet to comment but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
