Vodafone will begin to offer PS5 on a monthly payment plan from tomorrow but it looks like it'll only be available in Australia and New Zealand.

Customers must already have two eligible post-paid services with Vodafone, such as mobile, tablet or NBN, to take advantage of the deal. Orders will be taken over the phone only via 1300 728 637.

Pricing is as follows:
  • 12-month plan: $62 AUD/month
  • 24-month plan: $31 AUD/month
  • 36-month plan: $21 AUD/month

Physical orders can be collected from retail stores from 15 December but it's advised to make an appointment first, a press release from the telco confirms.

PS5 heads to retail stores on 12 November.

It's a shame that they don't have this in other countries. I wouldn't take it but seems like a good deal for loads of people

So according to Google a PS5 in Australia costs $749.95, the 12-month plan at $62 a month is $744. So it's cheaper to buy this on finance than to pay the full cost upfront?

That don't sound right, much be some hidden costs somewhere.

How would they recoup the costs though. Hmmmmm.
