The Medium has been delayed until late January 2021

The Medium has been delayed until January 2021, developer Bloober Team has declared.

The developer wrote:

After much careful thought and consideration, today we have made the difficult decision to delay the launch of The Medium to January 28, 2021.

It wasn’t an easy choice to make, but one made due to the COVID-19 situation in Poland, as well as the current schedule of other games on the market. Bloober Team remains committed to delivering our biggest, most ambitious, fear-inducing experience to date.

The developer added it will use the extra time to further polish the game.

The delay perhaps explains why Bloober Team hasn’t submitted a physical version of The Medium to the Australian Classification Board for review; at present, The Medium has been refused classification within Australia.

The Medium is now expected on Xbox Series X, Series S and Windows PC from 28 January 2021.

Well that didn't take long, hopefully the delay is worth it.

Looks at first sight to be like a Silent Hill game, besides the name notably being different. After all, the same composer was involved, among some other developers.
