Update: SIE has made the difficult decision to delay the launch of The Last of Us Part II and Marvel's Iron Man VR until further notice. Logistically, the global crisis is preventing us from providing the launch experience our players deserve.

A message from us about the delay of The Last of Us Part II:

BREAKING: Sony is delaying The Last of Us II indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. A Naughty Dog source tells me the game is basically done, and this decision was made purely for economic/logistical reasons

It makes sense, hold off until the panic and uncertainty passes and more people have more time to focus on a solid gaming experience rather than pushing it out and having a lackluster release for what is set to be a proper cornerstone release from the PlayStation. The first Last of Us game became something truly special, this new one has built up nearly Half Life 3 levels of hype, so it's got a lot to live up to.

As for Iron Man...well, yeah, hold off on that, too...

Yeah, man. We were all looking forward to this game, arguably more so than certain other, similar "horror" games. Capcom released that lame Resident Evil 3 remake, which is essentially another soulless action shooter with so much cut content and embarrassing lameness, but this masterpiece in the making will suffer yet another delay, due to COVID-19. It just sucks. Armageddon is nigh...
