The Last Guardian on PS5 runs at 60fps on its disc-based version but capped on its digital counterpart.
The title's digital version was patched to apply a framerate cap of 30FPS, but its reported that the disc-based version of the game can bypass that and use the power of the PS5 to essentially double the framerate up to 60FPS.
Sony hasn't commented on the matter yet but hopefully will confirm that the patch will be reversed for those who own the game digitally. We'll keep you updated when more is known.
PS5 heads to retail stores on 12 November.
