Gaming is so dead right about now. I haven't had anything to play for months. Not since Silent Hill 2.
I watch films most of the time, but they are a hit or a miss as well. More so a miss.

What games are you hoping gain a reveal this summer?
I think a remake of both RE0 and RE1 is planned. It is the 30th anniversary of RE next year, so you can be sure Capcom will be aiming to make it special.
Even though I have mixed feelings on Ethan Winters, new characters being introduced in RE is not necessarily a step in the wrong direction. There's a lot of horror games where the protagonists who feel ordinary get more story based appeal.
You see, RE has had this merry band of heroes for years. So each game feels less scary, due to the likes of Jill and Chris being so overpowered. When you have a normal person caught up in a horror setting, however, it feels like you get organic creepiness. But the problem is, fans are too attached to characters such as Leon, that he's in a lot of the movies and games as it is.
Then they make a mess of the plot. They have left so many things unresolved, that I simply lost interest in waiting around for a conclusion that may never come.
