TheCecil: The Journey Begins is a horror-based game by Genie Interactive Games about the mysteries of the Cecil hotel and the evil energy that occurs around it, but with a twist and fiction events. Explore the hotel and find out about the mysteries and untold stories that lie within the halls of horror. Nothing but darkness greets Jeff Chambers as he opens his eyes in his dreary and gloomy house, which he shared with his wife. Soon after, he receives a chilling and strange phone call from his late wife, in which she begs him to come to her rescue. Jeff is baffled until he learns that she called from the demon-infested "Cecil Hotel." But then, Jeff realizes that this is no easy task to fight against evil. Finally, he realizes that in order to preserve his wife's soul, he must find the 3 stages of grief , which are: "Shock & Denial", "Pain & Guilt", and "Acceptance and Hope."
