Super Animal Royale has been a quiet hit so far. Currently in Early Access for PC and Xbox One (Game Review), this indie battle royal game features a two-dimensional game of falling from a giant eagle while 64 genetically modified creatures struggle to survive.
It launched on Xbox One, you might be wondering if Pixile Studios has enabled cross-play, allowing you to join existing computer players for online matches. While cross-platform multiplayer has evolved in recent years, it’s still not the standard.
Is Super Animal Royale cross-play?
Fortunately, the answer is yes. With packs for Switch, PS4, PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X | S supports Super Animal Royale cross-play and cross-save with all platforms.
While you can join matches with other users but not party with them, Squads and Duos are planned for the future.
To enable cross-play, all you have to do is choose to change your party settings by setting up solo, duo, or squads game.
At the bottom you’ll find the cross-play settings, which you can use to decide if you want to play against PC/Xbox users. Choose Accept and everything will happen.
