Star Wars Squadrons supports 120FPS on Xbox Series X, Series S

Star Wars Squadrons now supports 120FPS on both Xbox Series X and Series while PS5 does not.

The new patch means players will have two options to choose from, depending on the console they have. The visual priority will run at up to 2160p and 60fps on Xbox Series X or 1440p and 60fps on Xbox Series S. A performance priority mode will run at up to 2160p and 120fps on Xbox Series X or 1440p and 120fps on Xbox Series S. Variable Refresh Rate is supported by both consoles as long as you have a compatible display.

While the PS5 does not offer 120FPS due to its differences in the ways in which the consoles support backwards compatibility, it will offer up “improved visual quality and lighting” in comparison to the game play on PS4.

Head here for the full patch notes.

Star Wars Squadrons is available on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. It's also playable via backwards compatibility on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and can be played in VR.
