Star Wars returns to Fortnite for May the 4th

Star Wars has returned to Fortnite in celebration of the sci-fi franchise on May the 4th.

Players can buy four different lightsabers in the in-game item shop: Rey & Obi-Wan’s blue lightsaber, Luke Skywalker’s green saber, Mace Windu’s purple saber and Kylo Ren’s unique, angry red lightsaber.

Furthermore, skins for Kylo Ren, the Sith Trooper and Rey are also available along with a dark side emote. All Star Wars related items will be removed from the in-game shop on May 5.

Fortnite is available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Windows PC, iOS and Android devices. It also offers Party Royale which is all about partying, not fighting. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is available on Disney+ from today, May the 4th.

I think fortnite seems to be now a platform for giving the new movies, games and the other comic characters to make an appearance. Though it worked out for them. Not sure how good it feels playing with that all the time.
