Star Wars: Project Maverick, an unannounced title has appeared on the PlayStation Store, a new report suggests.

PSN Releases confirmed Project Maverick has been included in the European PlayStation Store with the promotional art, as seen above. Project Maverick will take place on or around Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith‘s Mustafar, and that some X-Wing fighters and a Star Destroyer will be involved in some way.

In addition to being featured in a Star Wars film, Mustafar is also the homebase of the villainous Darth Vader.

Update: PSN Releases shared the entry’s content ID, and Gemastu has used it to uncover more information. The outlet has found at the entry is listed as a beta, isn’t compatible with PlayStation VR and is a multiplayer title.

Star Wars: Project Maverick is being developed by EA Motive, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has confirmed. Tell us what you think we'll see in the game?

I heard that regarding this game the one of the contributing developer studios were removed. I guess its too early to say how the game is and seems to be not many creators with playstation gameplay reviews. Still so much hype there.
