Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has received a free content update for May the Fourth. The update includes a new Meditation Training mode alongside a New Game Plus mode.
~EA.Meditation Training… is a new game mode hub that can be accessed from the Meditation points found throughout the game. In it, you’ll be able to face off against all enemies, including bosses, in two different modes: Combat Challenges and the Battle Grid.
There are a total of 12 challenges, each with three stars that can be earned:Combat Challenges will pit Cal against waves of enemies across multiple planetary backdrops from across the galaxy, including the Imperial stronghold Fortress Inquisitorius.
- Star 1: Complete the challenge
- Star 2: Complete the challenge without healing
- Star 3: Complete the challenge without taking damage
Earning 12 (of 36 available) stars will reward you with three new BD-1 appearances: Onderon Bloom, Kesseltone and Galionica.
The Battle Grid area of Meditation Training will let players set up their own custom encounters.
Also, a New Journey Plus mode is available to those who’d like to start playing from the start of the game but keep their Force powers intact. Cal also gains access to a new outfit, the Inquisitor Uniform, when playing in New Journey Plus mode.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC; the title is currently on sale.
