News Space Force service members will be called Guardians

Today, after a yearlong process that produced hundreds of submissions and research involving space professionals and members of the general public, we can finally share with you the name by which we will be known: Guardians.

Bungie must be proud, now we just need the three classes represented and the road to Destiny is well underway.

Guardians of the Galaxy is actually a good term. Too bad the Space Force will have to either a) hitch a ride on Elon's new capsule or b) wait a few years to invent rockets of their own. And that doesn't take into effect the fact that weapons are banned in space.
