Skull & Bones release pushed to 2022-2023

Ubisoft’s Skull & Bones release date has been pushed to sometime in 2022 and 2023, the publisher disclosed.

The publisher's financial year 2021 earnings report reads:

Ubisoft also expects to release a solid and well-diversified line-up, including premium and F2P [free-to-play] titles.

The year will notably see the release of Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Riders Republic, The Division Heartland and Roller Champions. Skull and Bones will now be released in 2022-23.

The delayed title was first announced in 2017, then delayed into 2019, then delayed into 2020. Reports in mid-2020 suggested Ubisoft was rebooting the concept.
