Last week, Crytek revealed that it’s working on Crysis Remastered. Crytek is co-developing this remaster with Saber Interactive and according to Tim Willits, the remaster will feature more than one single-player campaigns.

We will be talking about the remasters more soon. I'm glad people are excited.

Now in case you didn’t know, Crysis only had one single-player campaign. After its success on the PC, Crytek released Crysis: Warhead. Crysis Warhead was a standalone expansion in which players assumed the role of Psycho.

The fact that both Crytek’s press release and Tim Willits mention multiple single-player campaigns hints at the remaster featuring both Crysis and Crysis Warhead. That, or the teams will remaster the original PC Crysis for the PC audience, and the console version for the console audience.

The original, PC version, of Crysis featured a more tactical nanosuit. Alongside Cloak, Power and Armor, PC gamers could also use Speed Mode. The PC version also featured some VTOL missions that were cut from the console version.

Tim Willits claimed that Crytek and Saber will reveal more details about Crysis Remastered soon.

Stay tuned for more!
