Returnal auto-save solution not easy to find, says dev

Returnal auto-save feature is still being worked on but there's no easy to solution, says developer Housemarque.

The news comes from Housemarque’s Mikael Haveri, who said the team is hearing feedback from players and is attempting to implement a solution.

Haveri continued on to say that the studio is actively attempting to address feedback, by adding an auto-save system to break up in-game runs that could potentially run for two or more hours.

We just don’t know exactly what [the fix] is. So it’s very difficult to announce anything, because I think there’ a lot of different people looking for different things.

Returnal is available on PS5 and Windows PC.

I understand that their situation is somewhat unique compared to other games but it's quite funny how they're struggling with a somewhat basic feature.
