Resident Evil RE:Verse coming in July, says Capcom

Resident Evil RE:Verse is coming sometime in July, Capcom has confirmed.

The news was delivered by Tsuyoshi Kanda, as part of Capcom’s E3 2021 livestream.

Village was first released back in May 2021 and was meant to be bundled with RE:Verse, an online multiplayer featuring characters like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jack Baker and the Nemesis, set in Raccoon City Police Department.

The online multiplayer was meant to be released alongside Resident Evil Village but RE:Verse was having issues, as its open beta was suspended almost immediately after its launch due to matchmaking issues.

Resident Evil Village is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Windows PC. RE:Verse will follow sometime in July 2021.
