PS5 will have 667GB of usable SSD storage, a new report from Twitter user suggests.

Citing a now-removed YouTube video as the source of the report, Twitter user @Okami13_ posted images that feature a PS5 sporting Russian language UI. One of two images indicates the PS5 allegedly has an available internal SSD storage size of 667.176GB; the second image surmises that space is reduced to 648.352GB “with Astro’s Playroom installed”.

From available specifications, we do know that the PS5 has a custom 825GB SSD.

Sony hasn’t detailed the full storage space available, but we'll keep you posted if anything changes.

PS5 heads to retail stores on 12 November.

From what I read, the ones used for testing purposes have less usable storage but the retail ones will have more. Not the full 825GB of course, but nothing as low as 667

That does seem really low, hopefully it comes out with a bit more than that.

Ugh, that and the lack of external support isn’t a great look for the PS5.
