Sony continues to support PSVR2 with strong third-party titles, proving it's far from dead. The rumored PSVR3 with a modular, interchangeable screen for PS6 sounds interesting and could make VR more affordable. If Sony bundles it with the PS6, it could be a smart way to drive adoption and expand their ecosystem.

Incoming PSVR2 price drop should help out considerably as the PSVR2 sales have exponentially spiked on the last two sales.

I think that such experience is kinda good for gaming. I also want to try this game for myself, but first i need to buy VR of course
With something like Resist, previous Quest exclusive, out now and fun on PSVR2 then Undead Citadel finally releasing after like almost 10 years it seems the iron grip Meta has had on a lot of games may be slipping with their shift to highlighting their Pay2Win games there may be a slew of retail games headed to PSVR2 with the low-fi looks and great performance. PSVR2 owners have been eating pretty good generally already though in 2025.

If these do well enough, sales wise, it's also possible a lot of the devs will live to see another dev cycle and make sequels that really push the PSVR2/PS5 closer to their limits which is what a lot of PSVR2 gamers are looking for. Alternately I wish a lot of these studios would just port older games to VR, but I don't know how willing studios are to relinquish even their old code. Newer studios like Greylock or Heart Machine might be a bit more open if they don't have to do the VR ports themselves, but still see some of the revenue from it. Flat2VR might kick the door down for that to start happening more. SystemShock 2 for PSVR2 would be amazing.
