PlayStation Days of Play 2021 starts next week

PlayStation Days of Play 2021 event starts next week, offering the chance to earn rewards across PS4 and PS5.

Registration are now open, with the first stage of the event starting on 18 May and ending 24 May. Stage two kicks off from 25 May and ends on 31 May. Both stages require players to band together to earn Trophies in order to earn PSN avatars or PS4 themes.

If you want to take part then you'll need to head here to sign up (it's free).

Every time you play a game or earn a Trophy in any PS4 or PS5 game, you’ll contribute to community goals. When the community hits (or exceeds) the target, everyone who signed up before that stage started wins.

The Days of Play Stage 1 goal is set at 2,400,000, with the Stage 2 goal following at 7,200,000. There’s also a Stage 3, but no information has been revealed yet.

It would have been nice if the PS5 had themes but this seems a bit pointless for us. Avatars are useless as well tbh
