Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2020 event is now on and offers limited-time game modes alongside weekly challenges and new cosmetics.
The new 4v4 Freezethaw Elimination mode joins Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt and Snowball Deathmatch modes. To win, one team must freeze and kill the other. Allies on the team must thaw out frozen teammates to revive them.
The challenges will run for three weeks between 16 December and 6 January 2021 and are as follows:
- Week 1: Elf Junkrat (Epic)
- Week 2: Gingerbread Ana (Epic)
- Week 3: Frosty Roadhog (Epic)
To secure the prizes, players must win nine games each week.
The event also offers five new Legendary Skins; Conductor Reinhardt, Penguin Mei, Ice Empress Moira, Toybot Zenyatta and Lumberjack Torbjorn, alongside three Epic Skins and a handful of player icons and sprays.
Overwatch is available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and Windows PC.
