The Outer Worlds has delayed its Switch release due to the coronavirus, confirms Private Division. The physical version will now be released via cartridge rather than a coupon for a download code.

Private Division on Twitter:
We’re delaying The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch due to the coronavirus impacting the Virtuos team working on the port, to provide them enough time to finish development. We’ll now be releasing the physical version on cartridge. Once we have a new launch date, we’ll let you know!
The switch version was originally scheduled for March 2020 but no release date has been confirmed yet.

The Outer Worlds is available on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. It's now available on Xbox Game Pass too.

Quite unfortunate, but a good move nonetheless. Almost everything has been affected by the coronavirus (at some point or another) and I'm sure people will cut them a break considering that some of the world has effectively ground to a standstill.

This is what happens when all production is done in one country, but its good China is taking steps to hopefully contain this.
