No Man's Sky Desolation to bring horror to the space sim

No Man's Sky Desolation update will add Alien-like horror to the game, Hello Games has revealed.

The trailer (below) details the “mysterious abandoned freighters floating in space and ripe for scavenging and looting”… along with the terrifying creatures that will await you.

Desolation comes along with the game’s 2.6 update, which includes improved lighting effects, new items, and increased inventory and customisation options for capital ships. Head here to read the full patch notes.

No Man’s Sky is available on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Those green jelly fish look spooky and in game must be scary to see them up close. And considering this update has focused on the scary aspect. I am sure there must be more such entities that would scare the hell out of anyone. It's fun either way to play the game and now with this update we have a strong reason too.

So where in its endless universe do you go to meet up with those?

Considering this is DLC, there must be some sort of trail where you may observe them or have some specific DLC trail to play instead of finding them wandering all over the universe. I am sure there must be some way to trigger them or access them in various parts if not other way.

Looks good. It is nice to see the game continuously being updated especially after such a rocky start. Glad that the developers were able to turn it around in the end
