Nintendo Switch Online services and the Nintendo eShop are both back up after being down for over eight hours earlier today, likely due to an increase of usage by those self-isolating and social distancing due to the coronavirus.
Nintendo didn't explain the cause of the downtime, but advised that the service was back up.
