A recent exchange on Twitter between Netflix has had the effect of the streaming giant’s official account confirming that they will be making their debut appearance at E3 in June this year. The company will be holding a panel at E3 Coliseum 2019 to make some game announcements, with Netflix already teasing some plans for the event to keep us on our toes.

Netflix will arrive at E3 2019 for a panel called “Bringing Your Favourite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games.” Afterwards, it was confirmed that 'Stranger Things 3: The Game' will be just one of the games that will be shown off by the company at E3. 'Stranger Things 3: The Game' was announced back in December and it was revealed recently that the game will be arriving on Sony’s PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Microsoft’s Xbox One, and mobile devices on July 4 this year.

However, one game announcement isn't enough for Netflix. Netflix says that “there’s definitely more to come”, meaning that even more games based on Netflix's originally produced shows and movies are coming soon to a console near you. Fans are expecting to see video game adaption of shows like The Umbrella Academy, Bright or Riverdale. Netflix have also made it clear that they are looking to develop more interactive experiences off the success of it's Black Mirror film, Bandersnatch.

It’s also rumoured that Netflix will be reviving the Telltale’s Stranger Things video game, which was cancelled suddenly due to the closure of the studio behind the game. Whatever the upcoming games by Netflix are, it’s exciting to know that Netflix is taking it's attempts to make a name for itself in the busy gaming industry seriously. We can't wait to see what they are going to come up with.
