My PS4 controller is soaked in juice

I'm wondering if anyone can advise what I should do next? The recommendations on google are conflicting. Should I take it apart? This happened when it was turned on. It is still on - should I shut it down? It was a full glass of apple juice that spilled over onto it - pretty sticky mess. ☹
