Mum needs help with Oculus Quest 2 set up please!

Hi, my son (9) has been asking all year for a VR headset for Xmas and I have sourced a reconditioned Oculus Quest 2 from CEX. I am not a gamer - I cannot work his PS4 at all, but would, however challenge the best of you on this forum to Rayman Raving Rabbids on the Wii (old school!). I'm struggling to find any simple, clear instructions about how to set it up. I want to make sure we can get it up and running on Xmas day without too much stress, so want to do as much before hand as possible. I have a Facebook account, but am scared to fire the bloody thing up as I don't know what to expect! Can someone who has one of these talk me through the basic steps involved from opening the box to being able to play a few games. I have absolutely no idea how it all works! Thank you in advance!
