Microsoft Azure cloud service demand has been up 775% due to the coronavirus.

A Microsoft Azure blog post states an increase of the cloud services and a “very significant spike in Teams usage” to the tune of 44 million daily users.

We have seen a 775 percent increase of our cloud services in regions that have enforced social distancing or shelter in place orders.
The blog also notes that the Windows Virtual Desktop usage has tripled.

Government use of public Power BI to share COVID-19 dashboards with citizens has surged by 42 percent in a week.
The cloud services demand has risen the most in Europe, UK, France, Asia, India and Brazil, and despite the high demand, they have not had any significant service disruptions.

I'm honestly surprised it isn't more, I would think they would be hitting the service's max performance.
 
Yes, Noticed a lot of people have started moving their office documents on cloud. And the Google Suite also has a lot of takers during this crisis. And even worst is that they are ready to pay a lot of money for such type of the backup. So it's kind of expected.
