Bilgewater has been revealed to be the newest region in Legends of Runeterra. This comes after the LoR team has been showing off a lot of new cards for the original six regions and new champions for each. While no champions have been confirmed, one can hear voice lines for Gangplank and Miss Fortune in the video for the reveal. As a reminder, this will be the seventh region in the game, it will introduce five new champions for Bilgewater and it will bring all new cards.
Will the official release coming at the end of the month, it makes sense that the Legends of Runeterra team would save the new region for last. Bilgewater is the home to pirates and all manner of trade and interesting people. Think “Pirates of the Caribbean” and this is basically Riot’s version of it. So far they have only revealed some of the cards but expect there to be new champions released every day starting either today or tomorrow. Here is a look at the cards that have been revealed.
Also they revealed a new Keyword called Plunder.
Overall the addition of this new region plus the plethora of cards that are coming should shake up the meta and the game for quite a while.
