Is it worth getting Nintendo Switch Online?

Now that the service has been out for long enough I was wondering what were your opinions on the Nintendo Online service.

Some people find it to be pretty cheap and reasonable, some other people think even at that price what if offers don't compare to what you would expect from a paid service since they didn't change anything of the structure, and the incentives with the NES Online and cloud saving were not what many expected.

So where do you stand? Do you think it is worth it?
If you got a subscription, are you going to renew it?

Permanent deletion of cloud saves concerns me, but it seems to only happen after 6 months without a subscription. I guess if you go that long without a subscription, you don't really care about your saves.

I personally think that considering the new games are more on the XBOX and Sony. I don't see much future for the nintendo. And it can get pretty difficult from here onwards. So I'd say that online support would be pretty harder on the nintendo side from what I have noticed so far. Sony PS subscription and xbox one is lot better.
