Unless you've been switched off from traditional media over the last week or so, you'll be aware of how damaging the Australian wildfires have been to the country and it's ecosystem. So far, the fires have burnt over 25 million acres of land, killed 500 million animals alongside 2,000 homes. A devastating turn of events for the country has seen people from all over the world wanting to help and provide some relief for those who have been affected.

Infinity Ward announced today that all proceeds from Outback pack sales will go towards the relief effort, including the money from packs already purchased. The campaign will run until the end of the month and will include proceeds from all platforms.

The Outback pack launched earlier in the month and immediately was picked up by players ,due to it's Australian links, who saw an opportunity to help raise some money for those affected. It would seem that infinity Ward took notice and the request has been met with high praise from those on the social media circuit. The bundle - which has now has a name change - is now called the Outback Relief bundle and can be purchased until the end of the month. Players will also receive various cosmetic items upon purchase such as an operator skin, weapon camo, and Koala charm.

I'm glad to see this happening through the gaming world, a lot of celebrities have helped Australia and its good to see this. :)
