I'm having problems with my controller's joystick drifting

Has anyone had any issues with their PS4 controllers having a bit of stick drift. This is where you notice that in-game, it's as if the thumbsticks are being moved slightly. With one of my controllers, the right stick appears to be moving by itself which is annoying.

I know the Nintnedo Switch is having a major issue with this, but nothing from Playstation. Maybe a bad controller? Is it a old one?
