Is this a good console? I've always used Sony. But I managed to get some credit so I ordered an Xbox One S with Battlefield V and a wireless controller. I also get 2 weeks free Live Gold and a month free of Game Pass.
I haven't touched an Xbox since the original. Like you, I've always been a Sony person. Let us know how you like it after you get some play time in!Is this a good console? I've always used Sony. The UI is a bit cumbersome, and there aren't nearly as many titles available in the monthly "Game Pass" as there are with Playstation Now. But it's a decent system. Games load fast, and everything seems cool. How did you like your Xbox One S so far? I haven't tried it, I'm still stuck with PlayStation haha
The Xbox One S is great value! I have one myself and I really enjoy its 4k capabilities and the close connection to the whole Windows ecosystem (hello Xbox Play Anywhere-games!). Later this summer I'm planning to upgrade to the Xbox One X now that there is a white version. ?Opinions?
Yes, you must have a Game Pass sub to play the games. There are about 100 so far, but there are issues playing older 360 games even tho they are "supposed" to work. I run on a 48" LED FHD TV. Looks badass!Hi Zoldos, I'm also planning to buy Xbox One S since it looks pretty decent for weekend gaming. My first choice is obviously One X but the price means I need eat eggs everyday after the purchase so yeah One S will do. Got question please
What monitor are you using 4K TV, IPS monitor?
What games are included in Game Pass?
If the Game Pass expires, no more access to the free games?
Thanks bro! Peace
Not the same way the X does. The Xbox One S does not have "native" 4k. That's what the X is famous for otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. The Xbox One S actually uses a technique similar to what the PS4 pro uses. Where it checkerboards the image, breaking it down and re-arranging it. The X has native 4k and displays the image in 4k native form. It's supposed to support 4k. lol
