Hey everyone,
just curious—how long are you willing to wait for a game to release?

Some games seem to take forever to come out. I remember waiting over two years for Madness: Project Nexus! And GTA 6? It's driving me crazy (just kidding) :ROFLMAO:. So, how long are you willing to wait for a game before the excitement starts to fade? And what's the longest you've waited for a game to be released?

I'll go first: I waited about 1.5 years before finally getting to play Angelic: The Chaos Theater on Steam this August. Besides Angelic, I'm really looking forward to GTA 6.

I don't "wait" for games anymore. They come out when they come out and no amount of pissing and moaning from me is going to change that. Not to mention how counter productive it is anyway. Game developers are under enough pressure from thier higher ups to meet deadlines, the last thing they need is the same pressure from fans. That can only make everything worse, including the game itself. I'd rather wait for a good game with the minimum of bugs at launch created by developers who weren't ground into the dirt making it.

Until it's... READY. What a brilliant concept!

But it's not so brilliant because people keep accepting subpar, low-quality games.

Well honestly I just make note of the title and check it out every once in awhile. Beyond that do not look or care about
it. Take canceled N64 titles. There are a couple and nobody is going to take up the labor of actually making them real.

I am not sure, but the lack of news regarding Silent Hill: Townfall, etc, is nippy.

Some of these games Konami spoke of in 2022 have never received any updates whatsoever since that time. The only game they updated people on is the SH2 remake, which comes out on the 8th of October.

Konami is dead. They and SEGA do not want anybody talking, promoting, glorifying there original IP's.

Capcom is a memory

It is like a messed up pipe-dream, knowing how great it would and could and should be right now.

I thought Konami was trying to redeem themselves.

The era of pachinko sucked, for sure. 😌
