The angklung is a bamboo-framed musical instrument that consists of two bamboo tubes joined together. The tubes have been cut to produce a resonant tone when hit. The two tubes are octave-tuned. One hand holds the frame's base while the other shakes the instrument quickly in a side-to-side motion.
