These side quests are among the finest non-main plot experiences in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy, a spectacular open-world action RPG from Avalanche Software, allows you to explore the magical world of Harry Potter like never before. The game received great reviews from both fans and reviewers, making it the finest Harry Potter game ever created. Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the 1890s, prior to the major events of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. This is an ideal backdrop for the game because it enables players to experience their effect on the wizarding world without being overshadowed by the deeds of the kid who lived.

Hogwarts Legacy is teeming with things to do, places to see, and monsters to meet. Most players will find the game's primary narrative engaging enough, but genuine Potter fans will want to go deeper and discover all Hogwarts Legacy has to offer. Here are a few of the greatest side missions that players should not miss.

1. The Man Behind The Moon

Fans of Harry Potter will be acquainted with a powerful beast known as a Demiguise. A Demiguise is a little gray-furred monster. What's fascinating about this beast is that it can see into the future, making it very difficult to trap. To complicate things further, a Demiguise may also become invisible, making it much more difficult for a regular person to come across one. Although players in Hogwarts Legacy will not be able to encounter a genuine Demiguise, the area is littered with Demiguise sculptures for them to locate.

There are a total of 30 Demiguise statues in total scattered out around the globe, and locating all of them enables players to accomplish the side quest "The Man Behind The Moon". Completing this quest rewards players by letting them to improve the Alohomora spell, allowing them to choose level 2 and level 3 locks.

2. Well Well Well

While exploring some ancient ruins southeast of Aranshire, players are certain to stumble discover a well. A woman's voice may be heard begging for assistance from inside the well. After further investigation, players will discover that the voice is that of the well itself. The magical well will then invite players to take a map from it to a hidden area with some goodies.

Many completionists are unable to locate this mission. When you get at the map's location, use the spell Levioso to raise the tree and retrieve the treasure. This quest awards 180 XP, 400 Gold, and a Treasure-Bicorne Seeker's Hat.

3. In The Shadow of The Study

Crucio is one of three prohibited curses featured in Hogwarts Legacy that players may acquire after completing the side quest "In The Shadow of The Study" as part of Sebastian's mission line. The Crucio curse causes extreme suffering to one's foes, ultimately driving them mad. Players will enter Slytherin's Scriptorium with Sebastian and Ominis Gaunt for the mission.

The three will then explore what happened to Noctua Gaunt, leading them to a door. Once there, players must cast the spell Crucio on one of their peers or have Sebastian cast it on them. Once unlocked, the spell may be used to inflict long-lasting harm on opponents.

4. In The Shadow of The Relic

The Killing Curse, Avada Kedavra, is also included in Hogwarts Legacy and is believed to be one of, if not the, most potent curses in the Harry Potter world. This curse method may be obtained by completing the side quest "In The Shadow of The Relic" as part of Sebastian's missions.

This side quest needs players to be level 28, implying that they would most likely get this curse after completing the main plot of the game. To accomplish the task, players must also fight a character in the cave packed with Inferi. Avada Kedavra, like the films and the literature, is a curse that instantaneously kills adversaries.

5. In The Shadow of Time

Hogwarts Legacy has three lethal curses that players may obtain. One of them is the terrible spell Imperio that unlocks after finishing the side quest "In The Shadow of Time". After completing multiple tasks in Sebastian's lengthy quest path, this side quest becomes accessible. The side mission will take players to Feldcroft, Sebastian's boyhood home, where they must uncover an old item.

Players may interact with Sebastian after finishing the mission and learn the Imperius curse magic from him. During battle, the curse enables players to take control of their opponents' thoughts.

Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
